Put all of your plastics together and we will pick them up and sort them at the station. We dont want to see any plastics going into landfills.

 

Plastics Broken Down:

Number 1 Plastics: PET or PETE (polyethelene terephthalate)

#1 Plastics are found in:

Number 7 plastics have traditionally not been recycled, though some curbside programs now take them.

Polycarbonate is number 7, and is the hard plastic that has parents worried these days, after studies have shown it can leach potential hormone disruptors.
